Boro Set To Announce Digard - Date: 28 Jun 2008

Gareth Southgate is set to announce his first signing of the summer, French U21 star Didier Digard.

According to reports in France, Middlesbrough FC are going to pay £4.5 million to land “new Patrick Vieira”.

The price for the player is closer to Middlesbrough's valuation than PSG who had put a price tag of £6.3 million on the midfielder.

The French star has played at every international level from U16 and is set to join the full team for the World Cup qualifiers.
