boro-unger 3,870
Welcome to the oneBoro player ratings/MOTM thread. After each Boro game I'll be posting a link to a ratings page for you to give a score/10 for each of the players. A couple of days after the game, I'll post the results of the poll so we can see who the official oneBoro MOTM was! At the end of the season, we'll be able to see who the best and most consistent performers were and hopefully some other shexy statistics if I get this spreadsheet working. Please try and rate each player on their own merits and based on the game in question (and don't just get in a huff and give everyone a '1' because we lost...) Also, please try and keep any discussions regarding player performances and the game itself in the relevant match day threads. The remainder of this season is really just a trial to see how this goes and whether it takes off... Enjoy! 1st link - Boro v Wolves 04-Mar-2016: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5HDBJ2G 2nd link - Rotherham v Boro 08-Mar-16: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CLGJ3VZ 3rd link - Charlton v Middlesbrough 13-Mar-2016: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8XRBTZB 4th link - Middlesbrough v Hull 18-Mar-2016: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TH6PCPH 5th link - QPR v Middlesbrough 01-Apr-2016: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CMXJY3R 6th link - Boro v Huddersfield 05-Apr-2016: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NBD2DBB 7th link - Boro v Preston 09-Apr-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/YBZVCLH 8th link - Boro v Reading 12-Apr-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TCN8HQH 9th link - Bolton v Boro 16-Apr-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/DRVPLSK 10th link - Burnley v Boro 19-Apr-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/T9253J7 12th link - Birmingham v Boro 29-Apr-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LXKJBKY 13th link - Boro v Brighton 07-May-2016 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LLMYRJW
Yeovil-Boro 4
I've never done this before, being new. Can you tell me what the ballpark number is for average, just so I have an idea. I don't want to give a good '8' and find out this is very good or excellent (with 9 and 10 being superb and off the planet) Thanks.
Uwe 3,545
In my view every one starts at a 5. Then either gain or fall judging by performance. Most were 6/7 for this game but Adomah/Gaston were 8. De Sart stayed at a 5 as he didn't really get chance to prove or disprove his ability. but that's just my opinion.
Prowler 197
If they start with a 5, I've given de Sart 1 too many :D
Aphex_Boro 1,444
I used 6 as my baseline
Yeovil-Boro 4
Thanks for the advice - it seems everyone is slightly different but it's good to know.
Erimus 63 481
It's a pointless exercise because it can be done multiple times.
Brunners 7,982
I get a "you have already taken this survey" when I reopen it.
Erimus 63 481
I get a "you have already taken this survey" when I reopen it. Yes, then delete your temporary files and you can do it again.
Brunners 7,982
Yeah because most people have the time and inclination to bother doing that. Give over.
MidleastBoro 30
But who is sad enough to manipulate the results that way?
Erimus 63 481
All I'm saying is it's not accurate and a waste of time imo.
Aphex_Boro 1,444
All I'm saying is it's not accurate and a waste of time imo. It's a rough insight and a bit of fun at the end of the day, not the be all and end all. Don't bother with it if you think it's a waste of time then
boro-unger 3,870
Thanks for the advice - it seems everyone is slightly different but it's good to know. Yeah it's obviously a subjective thing. Just go with what you think is right. And it's really just a bit of fun trapper!
Brunners 7,982
Trapper doesn't have fun. Curmudgeon.
