Not sure there's any need for the sarcy comments to be honest; it was hardly a three page spread, it was a two line comment.

As Brunners said, some people see the Boro players as more than just tools for MFC to use and have an interest in their lives off the pitch.

If nothing else, a player who is happy off the pitch is more likely to play well on the pitch.
