POSTPONEMENT OF 140TH DISPLAY

**********POSTPONEMENT OF140TH ANNIVERSARY DISPLAY**********

With regret, we at RF08 have to announce that the 140th anniversary display planned for this Sunday against Watford has to be postponed until the home game against Bournemouth on the 29th of October.

This is due to an error from our usual supplier in delivering goods which were going to be crucial for the planned display. We’ve attempted everything in our power to rectify this mistake but as it has been an error on behalf of our suppliers, the situation has been left out of our hands. Group members were even prepared to drive to the other end of the country to pick up the materials ourselves at the last minute but we’ve been informed that this would not be possible.

We don’t want to let anyone down and postponing the display is not an action we have taken lightly, especially given the hard work that has gone into preparing the rest of the materials and the fantastic generosity of the Boro support to help fund the display. However, we’re not prepared to go forth with half a display which would not do justice to the Boro support or the occasion.

The display WILL happen at Bournemouth and still falls within the 140th anniversary celebrations.  

The game against Watford is still a chance to showcase the vibrant and passionate Boro home support and we won’t let this grind us down. Let’s all back the lads onto the first home win of the season!
