Gareth Southgate has told Brad Jones and Ross Turnbull to take their chance now Mark Schwarzer has joined Fulham.

Southgate has stated that he has no intention of signing a goal keeper to replace Schwarzer giving either Jones or Turnbull the chance to take the number 1 shirt.

Southgate hopes that they can step upto the big stage and follow in the footsteps of David Wheater and Stewart Downing who have become regulars in the first team after coming out of the Boro Academy.
