Ipswich v Boro - Tony Pulis Pre-Match Press Conference

In his pre-match press conference before the Ipswich game, Tony Pulis reiterated the importance of the game to take good form into the Play-Off fixtures.

“I think we have to approach it in the right manner. It’s very important that people understand, irrespective of what is on the game, we have a responsibility to our supporters who are going down there to watch a game of football. It’s an important game, about keeping the momentum going as much as anything else.”

“Whether I go with the team that has won over the past three or four weeks, or whether I change it, whoever puts on the shirt it’s important they go out there and keep up the momentum for us.”

“We have a few knocks and niggles, but I think everyone will be fit for the game. It’s whether one or two will need a rest, I will decide that closer to the game.”

“We will get this game out of the way, then we will know who we will have, then prepare for five days before the next one.”

"Generally this week it’s about who is ready and then we will pick a team, hopefully go to Portman Road and play well. We have to make sure everything is on this game then after that we will focus on a good performance in those two (semi-final) games."
