Academy youngster commits to Boro despite interest from Premier League teams
Middlesbrough won't have to worry about losing one of their youngsters, who helped the club's Under-18s finish fourth in the Under-18 Premier League this season.
Reports suggest Middlesbrough have reached a long-term contract agreement with Pharrell Willis, who has been attracting interest from a series of Premier League clubs.
Boro signed Willis in 2019, who was 16-year-old at the time. He is as an attacking midfielder, however, he played the majority of this season upfront and on the wide positions, scoring eight times in the league.
According to reports, Leeds United, Chelsea, and West Brom were all interested in him, but he has now agreed to stay with Boro in what could be a long-term deal.
