Aidan Morris Ruled Out With Knee Injury
Boro midfielder Aidan Morris has been sidelined by a knee sprain, missing key fixtures for both the national team and Middlesbrough in their promotion bid.
U.S. men’s national team midfielder Aidan Morris has been ruled out of the upcoming Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals due to a knee sprain, as confirmed by U.S. Soccer in their pre-match report prior to Thursday’s narrow 1-0 victory over Jamaica.
Morris sustained the injury during training, which will prevent him from participating in the forthcoming fixtures. U.S. Soccer stated, "Aidan Morris suffered a right knee sprain in training and has been ruled out of the November matches."
Morris had quickly established himself as an integral component of the national setup, having started in both of Pochettino’s initial outings last month. Although the national team secured a commanding victory over Panama in one of those fixtures, they experienced a setback against Mexico.
