Atlanta United in Advanced Talks with Boro for Emmanuel Latte Lath Transfer
Atlanta United are engaged in negotiations with Middlesbrough FC for striker Emmanuel Latte Lath, with a potential deal worth £20 million on the table. While talks are ongoing, no formal agreement has been reached yet.
According to reports from The Northern Echo, Atlanta United made the first official bid for Latte Lath over the weekend, proposing a deal that could reach a total of £20 million.
Representatives from both clubs are actively involved in talks, with the MLS side optimistic about securing the striker’s signature. However, interest in Latte Lath has also been expressed by several Premier League clubs and teams from abroad, leaving the door open for further offers, although none have materialised as of yet.
Should Latte Lath depart, Middlesbrough are prepared to seek a replacement during this transfer window. The club had hoped to retain their top scorer but anticipated increased interest following an unsuccessful bid from Ipswich Town at the end of the previous transfer window. Consequently, Middlesbrough have been monitoring potential targets for several months.
West Ham United have also emerged as a contender for Latte Lath's services, looking to bolster their attacking options in light of Niclas Füllkrug's three-month injury absence.
