Boro Beat Dumbarton
Middlesbrough FC cruised to a 5-0 victory over Dumbarton in a pre season friendly.
Boro opened the scoring through Gary O'Neil after 6 minutes. The lead doubled in the 42nd minute when Justin Hoyte crossed and a deflection from Dumbarton's Mick Dunlop put it into his own goal.
In the first half injury time, Hoyte was fouled in the box by Ben Gordon and Aliadiere finished from the penalty spot.
After 70 minutes, Adam Johnson finished a strong run off with a 20 yard strike into the roof of the goal.
Boro grabbed a fifth in the 73rd minute when Rhys Williams headed home from a Josh Walker corner.
