Boro Beat Hull City

Middlesbrough beat Hull City 3-1 with the Boro goals coming from Tuncay, Bates and King.

Boro were ahead after 3 minutes through Tuncay Sanli. Afonso Alves picked up a loose ball in the Hull City half and managed to make Hull City keeper, Matt Duke pull a full length save. Tuncay followed up placing the ball in the back of the net from 6 yards out.

Hull City leveled through a powerful Manucho header after 9 minutes.

Boro restored their lead with 29 minutes played. McMahon's corner fell nicely to Matthew Bates who slotted home for his first Premier League goal.

Boro wrapped things up in the 88th minute. A mistake by former Boro captain, George Boateng allowed Boro to gain a one-on-one situation with Marlon King finishing with a low shot.

Boro face Fulham next Saturday in another crucial home game!
