Boro Closing In On Loan Deals for Iling-Junior and Iheanacho

Middlesbrough FC are reportedly finalising loan agreements for Samuel Iling-Junior from Aston Villa and Kelechi Iheanacho from Sevilla.

Boro are reportedly on the verge of finalising loan agreements for Samuel Iling-Junior from Aston Villa and Kelechi Iheanacho from Sevilla. According to Teesside Live, the club are eager to complete these transfers before the transfer window closes on Monday evening.

Both Iling-Junior and Iheanacho are expected to arrive in Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Iling-Junio is currently on loan at Bologna in Serie A, having joined Aston Villa from Juventus last summer. Iheanacho is viewed as a replacement for Latte Lath, having scored five goals last season in Leicester City’s promotion.

Furthermore, Boro are actively considering further strengthening their squad. They are assessing the potential departures of Anfernee Dijksteel and Dan Barlaser, but prefer to secure replacements before permitting any exits.

The inclusion of Iling-Junior and Iheanacho would bring Middlesbrough's total number of loan players this season to five. While clubs can register any number of loan signings, they are restricted to naming a maximum of five in each match-day squad.
