Boro continue talks with Flamengo over Rodrigo Muniz deal
Middlesbrough's continued quest for more strikers has brought them to be linked to Brazilian youngster Rodrigo Muniz, who is also attracting interest from Fulham.
Middlesbrough have reportedly held a lengthy talks with Flamengo over their interest in signing Brazilian youngster Rodrigo Muniz.
The 20-year-old is also linked to Fulham, but the Brazilian club have rejected their bid. Fulham wanted him on loan with an option to sign him permanently in the future.
However, Flamengo want to sell him outright and are only looking for clubs that are ready to comply with their terms.
Other clubs have also shown interest in him, including Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and Saudi Arabia side Al Nasr.
Boro are also looking for a loan deal with an obligation to buy like Fulham, and they've now held talks with Flamengo on the possibility of signing him.

For Boro to have gone to the length of setting up talks with Flamengo in Lisbon, it means Neil Warnock's side are very serious with getting a move for the young Brazilian.
