Boro defender signs new deal
Middlesbrough FC have announced the contract renewal of defender Anfernee Dijksteel today.
Boro revealed that the 24-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal that keeps him at Boro until 2024.
Anfernee Dijksteel is regarded as one of the top defenders at the club, having joined from Charlton Athletic in 2019.
Since then, he has gone on to make 30 appearances for the club and has become a vital player at the Riverside this season.
Speaking on the new contract, Boro boss Neil Warnock revealed his delight.
"He's worked ever so hard since I came here, and I've been really pleased with the improvement he's shown in his overall game," Warnock said.

He has been a constant feature in the starting lineup, making 11 appearances this campaign.
