Boro Draw In First Game Back
Didier Digard made his debut as York City held Boro to a 2 - 2 draw.
Jonathan Franks opened the scoring at the KitKat crescent after only 30 seconds of the second half.
York then pulled a goal back through Adam Boyes and went ahead three minutes from time when Onome Sodje powered home from 25 yards.
David Wheater netted in the last minute of the game, to level the game.
“It would have been a bit embarrassing to lose,” admitted Wheater.

“They gave us a hard game which is what we wanted but I was relieved to score as losing the first friendly to a non-league team wouldn’t be ideal.”
