Boro face competition from AS Monaco for French midfielder
Boro have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old defensive midfielder.
Middlesbrough FC have been linked with Abdoulaye Sissako from Belgian side Zulte Waregem, according to RMC Sport.
The 22-year-old defensive has impressed in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season and has attracted the attention of several clubs.
Boro are reported to be "in the mix" to secure his signing, with AS Monaco and Cercle Brugge also showing an interest in the signing of the player in the summer transfer window.
