Boro Face Sheffield United In Opening Game
Middlesbrough FC will play Sheffield United at home on the opening game of the Championship season.
Sheffield United narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, loosing to Burnley in the play-off final.
The opening game will be played on August 8th 2009.
Boro will then travel to Swansea City on Saturday 15th August.
The first Championship mid-week game will be away at Scunthorpe, on Tuesday 18 August.
Boro then face Doncaster United at home on Saturday, 22 August 2009.
