Boro interested in former Blackpool forward
Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in signing former Blackpool striker Armand Gnanduillet, according to reports
Football Insider claims that Boro have identified Armand Gnanduillet as an affordable signing this summer. Boro were among the lowest scorers in the Championship last campaign and are looking to strengthen in the summer transfer window.
Neil Warnock was vocal about the need to improve the attack and the club are looking for potential additions this summer.
Gnanduillet has a good track record of scoring in England, as the Ivory Coast international finished joint second highest scorer last season in League One, netting 15 times and comes with a wealth of experience.
He is physically dominating and would provide the sort of approach favoured by Warnock. Gnanduillet would also have an easier path into the first team with the departures of Rudy Gestede and Lukas Nmecha.
Boro have also been linked with a move for Aberdeen forward Sam Cosgrove in recent weeks as they look to strengthen for next season.

Gnanduillet looks like a feasible signing for Boro due to his free transfer status. The coming days will give us an indication of how this transfer will play out.
