Boro join Bristol City and Cardiff City in the race for Luton Town forward
Boro are in a serious search for strikers ahead of next season, and they have now been linked to the Luton Town forward.
Middlesbrough have reportedly joined Bristol City and Cardiff City in the race for a summer transfer move for Luton Town striker James Collins, who helped the club to finish 12th in the Championship.
Collins scored 10 goals in 42 Championship games to help the Hatters remain in the division.
The 30-year-old signed for Luton Town in 2017 from Crawley Town, and he has scored 72 goals in 181 matches for the club, helping them move from League Two up to the Championship.
Collins’ contract with the Hatters is set to expire this summer, and he is reportedly considering his options. Middlesbrough appear first on the list of clubs linked to him, alongside Bristol City and Cardiff City.
