Boro not planning to offer winger a new deal
The future of Nathaniel Mendez-Laing at Middlesbrough remains uncertain as he continues to train at the club to attain full fitness.
According to reports, Middlesbrough do not plan to offer Mendez-Laing a new deal at the club.
The winger spent the majority of the second half of the Championship season with Boro after being without a club following his release from Cardiff City last year.
The 29-year-old could only play nine matches, scoring one goal and assisting another one.
Mendez-Laing suffered an injury during his spell and couldn't finish the season with Neil Warnock's side, as his short-term deal came to an end.
He is currently allowed to train and get himself back to fitness with the club.
