Boro rule out move for Nottingham Forest forward
Middlesbrough's interest in one of Nottingham Forest's striker has come to an end after finding it difficult to sign him.
Boro are unlikely to complete Lyle Taylor's signing from Nottingham Forest due to his wage demands and transfer fee.
The 31-year-old has two years left on his contract with Forest, making him expensive for Boro to pursue.
Neil Warnock's aim in the transfer window is to strengthen his frontline ahead of next season, but it doesn't seem as if they will be able to sign Taylor.
Taylor has also been linked to Barnsley, Blackburn Rovers, and Stoke City, who have all been monitoring his situation.
