Boro target Rotherham United forward
Rotherham United finished 23rd in the Championship table, and their main striker has now been linked to making a move to Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough have reportedly been linked to a move for Rotherham United forward Michael Smith, who scored 10 goals in 44 matches.
Since Rotherham United have been relegated to League One, it could be difficult for them to hold onto the 29-year-old with interest from a series of Championship sides.
Middlesbrough are particularly looking to strengthening their squad, and they have every need to be linked to the striker.
Smith is valued at just over £600k, a relatively low fee that would likely spark interest from a host of clubs.

With 10 goals in 44 matches, Boro could be an ideal place for Smith. Warnock previously said he wants strikers that can guarantee him between 10 and 15 goals a season, and he could have just that with Smith.
