Boro v Swansea City fixture brought forward due to logistical reasons
Boro's clash against Swansea City has been moved forward, with the game now kicking off at 12:30pm on Saturday, June 20th.
The fixture had been planned to kick off at 15:00 behind closed doors, as the Championship season resumes following a period of more than three months.
The game will now take place at lunchtime due to logistical reasons.
A statement by Swansea City said "the change in time for the fixture - which is being played behind closed doors - is due to logistical reasons."
It has emerged that Swansea City will travel to Middlesbrough on Friday and stay overnight in an approved hotel, having been given permission to do so by the Football League.
The earlier kick off reduces the amount of time the club will need to be in the hotel and ensures players and staff will have adequate time to return from the North East back to Wales.
