Burnley mulling swap deal for Boro defender
Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry is currently in high demand, with reports linking him with a move to the Premier League.
Burnley Express claims that the Premier League side are considering a swap deal involving Ben Gibson and cash for the defender.
Gibson, who joined Burnley from Boro in 2018, has failed to impress since making the switch to The Clarets.
The former Boro captain is out of favour at Turf Moor and has only made 6 appearances in two years, despite moving for a fee thought to be worth £15 million.
The Clarets are contemplating a move for Deal Fry due to the recent injury of captain Ben Mee. Mee's injury has left the club short of options in defence and Fry is viewed as a perfect addition to this weak area.
Fry is considered as one of the best defenders in the Championship and has performed impressively at the Riverside Stadium. He's excellent in the air and has a good passing ability.
As he is considered a key member of the Boro setup, Burnley would have to make a big offer for him in the summer transfer window.

Ben Gibson is still respected at the Riverside Stadium and has been training with the club in an attempt to rejuvenate his career.
