Chelsea Target Tuncay

Chelsea FC are set to offer £8 million for Middlesbrough FC star Tuncay Sanli.

Chelsea FC have been linked with a move for the Turkish international who is capable of playing upfront and in the hole between the Strikers and Midfield.

It would take a large bid to prize Tuncay away from Middlesbrough FC with Mido reported to be moving to Wigan in the January transfer window and Afonso Alves failing to make an impression this season.

Stewart Downing is also linked with a move to a London club, Tottenham Hotspurs. A £12 million bid has been reported to be placed, however Downing states he is happy at Boro.

I signed a long term deal earlier this year and my only aim at the minute is to try and get into Europe with Middlesbrough," Downing told the Evening Gazette.
