Digard Scores as Boro Beat Carlisle
Didier Digard scored his fist Boro goal as Boro beat Carlisle United 2 - 1.
Mido started the game, his first this pre season while Luke Young captained the side. Goalkeeper Jason Steele played 20 minutes in goal in the second half, after Brad Jones was substituted.
The opening goal came a minute into the second half, Jeremie Aliadiere weaved his way through on the right-hand edge of the penalty area and bursting forward to hit low, hard shot past goalkeeper Howarth.
Danny Carlton leveled 2 minutes later for Carlisle United.
Didier Digard then scored from 25-yards out, leaving Howarth with no chance.
