Speculation surrounding the future of Middlesbrough's striker Emmanuel Latte Lath is intensifying with reports from The Northern Echo indicating that Atlanta United have emerged as the first club to submit a formal bid for Emmanuel Latte Lath, with an initial fee of around £18 million, which could rise to £20 million with performance-related add-ons.

The Major League Soccer (MLS) side are also prepared to significantly enhance Latte Lath's salary, prompting Middlesbrough to acknowledge the bid, although detailed negotiations have yet to commence.

While Atlanta United are currently the only club to have officially approached Middlesbrough, interest in Latte Lath is widespread. Ipswich Town previously made an offer of approximately £20 million, including add-ons, which was ultimately rejected by the club's management. Nevertheless, Ipswich remain keen on securing the striker, with head coach Kieran McKenna emphasising the team's urgent need for a new forward.
