Fulham v Middlesbrough Preview: Can Boro secure a vital win
Middlesbrough face Fulham on Friday night as they look to continue their good run of form.
Boro have not lost in their last five League games but face an in-form Fulham side.
The biggest talking point before the game was the news of the extent of the injury to Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Mitrovic was stretched off in Saturday's win at Hull City and has been ruled out for two to three weeks.
Middlesbrough will see his absence as a boost with the forward netting 44% of Fulham's goals this season.
Boro have injury issues of their own with Britt Assombalonga yet to recover from a niggling ankle problem.
Middlesbrough have a good record at Craven Cottage, with Boro yet to lose their in their last two matches. The away side also have momentum on their side, picking up 17 points in their last eight games in the league, winning five of the matches.
Ashley Fletcher will be the man that Boro will turn to, with the striker netting in his last two away games in the League.
A win would take Fulham to third in the table and within four points of second-placed Leeds United, while a victory for Middlesbrough would take the club two places to 14th in the table.
