Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers face competition from Turkish side for midfielder
Middlesbrough are still linked with a move for former Luton Town midfielder Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, who the Hatters recently released.
After making almost 300 appearances for Luton Town, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu left the Hatters in the summer transfer window to pursue a new challenge, rejecting their new contract offer.
He has previously been linked to Middlesbrough and Blackburn Rovers, but he is yet to reach an agreement with any club.
However, according to reports, he has held talks with Hatayspor after the Turkish side tabled an offer with his agent.
Hatayspor aim to make more waves next season after finishing sixth in the Turkish Süper Lig last season, and the 27-year-old is a part of their plan ahead of next season.
The 27-year-old was a regular in Luton Town's squad last season, playing 44 Championship matches, the same amount of Championship appearances he made in the 2019/20 season.
