Middlesbrough join Blackburn Rovers in the race for winger
Middlesbrough's search for a new winger continues, and this time around, they've been linked with a move for Ryan Hedges from Aberdeen.
According to reports, Boro have joined Blackburn Rovers in the race to sign Aberdeen winger Ryan Hedges, as their search to sign more attacking players continues.
Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of six players in the transfer window, and only one of them is a striker, Uche Ikpeazu, who joined them from Wycombe Wanderers.
It has prompted manager Neil Warnock to look for more attacking options, and they have now been linked with making a move for Hedges.
The 26-year-old joined Aberdeen from Barnsley two years ago. He scored five and assisted three times in 28 Scottish Premiership matches last season and has been a vital asset at Aberdeen.
With only one year left on his contract, Hedges could be made available this summer. However, if Boro are keen on signing Hedges they will have to fight off Blackburn Rovers, who are also interested in the Welsh international.
