Middlesbrough linked with Rangers winger
Boro are reportedly interested in the services of Rangers winger Jordan Jones according to reports.
Teamtalk reports that a host of clubs have inquired about the services of Jordan Jones.
The 25-year-old winger joined Rangers last summer on a free transfer from Scottish side Kilmarnock and has not had the best of spells at Ibrox.
Rangers are thought to be open to selling the player and several Championship clubs are interested in his services.
Middlesbrough are keen on recruiting this summer after an underwhelming season last campaign, having finished finished 17th in the Championship.
Neil Warnock is thought to have discussed transfer plans with owner Steve Gibson and has requested a number of players ahead of next season, with Boro securing their first signing of the summer transfer window yesterday as Grant Hall joined from QPR.
Jones is a pacy winger capable of creating chances and loves to run at opposing defenders. He also has links to the club having come through the Boro academy, but made just a solitary appearance before leaving the club.
Boro could face major competition from Blackburn Rovers, as manager Tony Mowbray is keen on the winger. Stoke City have also been speculated as a potential destination for the winger.
