Middlesbrough miss out on Bolasie loan deal

Boro have missed out on the signing of Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.

Middlesbrough had been hoping to complete the deal for Yannick Bolasie ahead of the transfer deadline.

Boro had made a late move for the 31-year-old, but were waiting for confirmation on the deal.

According to Teesside Live, Boro will not be signing Bolasie in the transfer window and Boro will turn their attention to the free agent market.

The report goes on to state that there were talks between Boro and Everton, however, obstacles prevented a deal being struck between the relevant parties.

Neil Warnock's attention now turns to Boro's game with Reading at the Riverside Stadium tomorrow.
