Mido Raring To Go
Middlesbrough FC striker Mido is eager to start the new season after a lengthy injury and has told the Boro fans that a top 10 finish is on its way.
Fitness problems destroyed Mido's first season at the Riverside following his £6m move from Tottenham Hostpur last August.
However, the Egyptian striker is determined to make up for a disappointing season in which he only started 8 times.
Following surgery Mido is working hard to regain fitness ahead of the season. He has been working closely with Nick Allamby and has lost almost 2 stone.
Allamby has been putting Mido through his paces in Cairo and said: "I wake up every day at 6am and train with Nick at 9am.”
"I have lost ten kilos and I want to lose four more this month. I apologise to the fans for last season and I am working very hard for the new season.”
"I have lost a lot of weight and I have never reached this level since I was at Roma."

I expect that Middlesbrough can finish in the top ten of the Premier League next season. I promise the fans a good season from me and from the team.
