Mido Voted oneBoro Player Of The Year 08

Mido has been voted the Player of Year 2008, with 67% of the votes.

Mido, who signed from Tottenham for £6 million in August 2007 has made 29 appearances for Boro, scoring 7 goals.

However, he has faced injury problems during his time at Boro. In November 2007 he suffered a stress fracture to the pubic bone. Mido was then ruled out for the remainder of the 2007–08 season in April following a hernia operation.

Mido has missed several games recently, failing to make the squad for the Man United, Arsenal and Hull games.
