Preston North End interested in Middlesbrough midfielder
The future of Lewis Wing at Middlesbrough remains uncertain after his loan spell at Rotherham United.
Middlesbrough midfielder Lewis Wing signed for Rotherham United on loan in the January transfer window after finding it hard to get regular playing time under Neil Warnock.
He made 12 Championship appearances for Boro this season, scoring once, before he joined Rotherham United.
At Rotherham United, Wing has played 14 Championship matches where he has provided two assists so far.
However, there are reports that Preston North End are interested in Wing, following an impressive performance against them while playing for Rotherham United.
According to further reports, Preston tried to sign the 25-year-old in 2018. They are likely to be serious about him again this summer.
