Boro's Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Burton Albion has the potential to be shown live on Sky Sports, depending on the outcome of Leicester City’s rearranged 4th round tie with Southampton.

Sky Sports will screen two quarter-final ties on Tuesday December 18th, with Arsenal v Tottenham already confirmed as one of those games.

However, the second game will be confirmed following the outcome of Leicester City’s rearranged fourth-round tie with Southampton on November 27. If Leicester win, their match against holders Manchester City will be shown live, however, if Southampton make it through, then Boro’s game will be aired.

This is due to the fact that Southampton won’t be able to play on the Tuesday evening, due to their scheduled Premier League clash with Arsenal on the Sunday.

Meanwhile, Boro have released ticket information for the away trip to Preston North End.

An initial allocation of 2,000 tickets are available to Boro fans, with tickets going on sale to Season Card holders on Monday 12th November at 6pm.

Ticket prices are as follows...
