QPR join race for Boro transfer target
QPR have joined Middlesbrough in the race for Rangers winger Jordan Jones.
Sky Sports reports that QPR are battling with Boro in the chase for the signing of Jordan Jones.
Jones has endured an underwhelming spell since joining Rangers last season. He missed a significant part of the campaign after sustaining an ankle injury in the Old Firm derby.
Since then, there has been reports that Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has informed the club that Jones does not feature in his plans.
This was echoed by Northern Ireland manager Ian Baraclough who suggested that the wide man has been told by The Gers that he is free to find a new club if a suitable offer comes in for him before the transfer window closes in Scotland next month.
Boro need additional firepower in the attack that has been toothless in the last two matches.
Boro will need to be proactive in the transfer window if they're to avoid a similar scenario to the last campaign where they were among the lowest scorers in the League.
