Sunderland continue talks with Middlesbrough and Millwall target
Middlesbrough are still in contention to sign Sunderland midfielder Luke O'Nien, but the League One side are in talks to get him to sign a new deal.
Middlesbrough are joined by Millwall in the race for O'Nien, whose deal at Sunderland is set to expire at the end of this month.
After Sunderland failed to secure promotion from League One, most of their key players whose current deal will expire this summer have all started looking for alternative moves in the transfer window.
However, the Black Cats continue to put in all their efforts to convince some of them to stay. One such player is O'Nien who can play in both midfield and defence.
Reports now have it that he has been receiving offers from other clubs.
