Tottenham v Middlesbrough: Potential lineup

Middlesbrough face Tottenham in what should be a tough clash for Boro in the replay of the FA Cup Third Round.

Tottenham had forced a replay last week after Lucas Moura scored an equaliser following Ashley Flecher's opener for Boro.

The return leg is one that is somewhat of a 'free hit' for Boro as the pressure is solely on their opponents. Looking at the first team, Woodgate has a fairly settled squad with no new injury concerns from the 2-2 draw at home to Derby County.

There could be some changes to the team, with Woodgate known to make such changes in cup competitions.

Tomas Mejias could start in goal with the stopper playing well in the first leg despite Aynsley Pears the current number one. Darren Randolph has also travelled with the squad, with his move to West Ham United turning into a fiasco.

Woodgate favours a back three and with Spurs likely to dominate possession, the trio of Jonny Howson, Paddy McNair and Dael Fry have to be at their very best.

Djed Spence and Hayden Coulson are likely to provide the threat of attacking from the wings, with Adam Clayton sitting in front of the defence alongside George Saville.

Marcus Tavernier, who has been linked with a transfer away from the club, should start on the right side of the attack with Patrick Roberts on the left.

Ashley Fletcher scored in the first leg at the Riverside Stadium and will be Boro's greatest threat leading the line.
