Yannick Bolasie confirms Boro deal was signed ahead of transfer deadline
Yannick Bolasie has Tweeted his disappointment in failing to complete a loan move to Middlesbrough FC.
Boro had made a late attempt to secure the signing of Yannick Bolasie from Everton, however, the deal fell through at the last minute on transfer deadline day.
Bolasie claims that the deal was signed and sent off, but that that it couldn't be completed in time.
The 31-year-old has shared his disappointment about missing out on the chance of joining Neil Warnock's team.
"Disappointed the deal couldn't get done in time" he shared on Twitter.
"Signed & sent off, waited till 19.00 with real hope."
"From my end I know I was willing to give up a lot"
"All I wanna do is say thank you to Neil Warnock (appreciate you so much) and wish Middlesbrough all the best this season."

Boro must now move to the free agent market in their hope of strengthening the squad.
