The stories of McGree wanting to move on seem to fit with his performances and mannerisms on the pitch. He just doesn't seem to be enjoying it here as much as he was in recent years. He's done well for us though - more than many expected - so I'd be happy to let him move for a tidy profit and look for a replacement with similar opportunity for profitability.  Also, for this mentioning Ben Johnson from West Ham as a Free Agent RB option - Tottenham are apparently in for him. Think some.of us on here are being over ambitious with the names being bandied about. Jayden Bogle would perhaps be more realistic, but reckon he could end up staying on at Sheff Utd.

Was interested to read this today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68602074 The Football Governance Bill is being introduced into Parliament today.   It follows a "fan-led review" which concluded an independent regulator was necessary to help ensure the future financial stability of the men's game, across the top 5 tiers. It will have a range of powers, including acting as an arbiter in the event that the PL and EFL are unable to reach agreement on new deals. Predictably the PL have been making some unhappy noises...obviously worried that this might reduce the amount of cash in their own trough.   Roughly translated: be nice to us or we might have to reduce the amount of money we hand out...   Ha! What a load of crap. £2bn of debt between the clubs...yet the likes of Man City and Chelsea can still somehow blow hundreds of millions in the transfer market. Something doesn't add up.

We've won more, which is why we're much higher up the table, but that's a surprising stat as it obviously means we lost less under Woodgate at this point in 2019/20. He was sacked on the 38th game with that awful defeat to Swansea, our 15th of the season.

Not sure if this is an indication of any decision on Mowbray's health and future there, but Birmingham are bringing back Rowett as an interim manager to try and keep them up.
