  1. On Ramirez - FWIW, I think people who booed today are perfectly within their rights to do so. Had I been at the game I would have done the same. Why? Because of the way he acted last season. Would I continuously boo him every time he came on in the future? No. But, he needs to know that his behaviour has a consequence. Just because he is a good player doesnt mean we cant take a stance on what hes done. I dont care what league we play in, if people actively want to leave and then get yourself purposefully sent off, how can that be forgiven? On the game - I thought we played some neat footba

I mean, we don't appoint just based on experience either and I'd be frustrated if we did. Vince said if she wanted to put her hat in the ring she would be under consideration. Is it outrageous to suggest that maybe she didn't? I'm not actually sure on that front. She went back to her Academy job after being in interim charge. The same thing happened with Craig Liddle who was put in interim charge before Pulis came in. And there's one thing you can say about both Craig Liddle and Hannah Dingley as a result of those decisions too, they both still have a job at the same club as it stands. Meanwhile, Horseman and Deeney have both been put in the bin by the owner, just like Woodgate, Warnock and Wilder were in Liddle's time. The song and dance is one thing but the fact is he is the first owner to put a woman in charge of a team in the interim. Big or small, that is a moment in football that happened for the first time, certainly in the UK. And, perhaps more than anything, the whole fuss he helped to create actually seemed to do a good job of highlighting the fact she's been involved in men's football in a coaching capacity for a long period of time and a decent period at the head of what, in recent seasons, has been an EFL academy. We can't know for sure but she seemed to be happy getting that spotlight on her too and made good use of it and fair play to her for doing so if that's what she wanted to do. Has Vince changed the game in doing what he did there? Probably not. But I don't think he'd be wrong to suggest FGR are ahead of most other teams in giving someone like her a chance as the proof is in the job she already had and continues to have in a men's coaching setup.

Unfortunately we can copy and paste that analysis onto almost everyone this year!

Makes sense. Everything with him has felt... not quite right this season since the rumoured failed move last year. Good luck to him, I think he's one of the best players we have but honestly we shouldn't be keeping people who don't want to be here, for me at least.
