Again, that is his ENTIRE purpose on that corner is to block Saville off. It's a pick play.3 points

Although Warnock is an avid reader of this forum, he probably doesn’t read it during the match.3 points

Its *** down here.. just walked past the stadium, so strange as the car park is a Covid test drive thru! Gutted I can't be there today, especially being so close. Hoping for a win but will take a point!3 points

If we'd turned two of our draws into wins we'd be second. I think we are still a few players away from competing at the top end though. I know its not great to watch but the league looks wide open at the moment.2 points

A win against Coventry and 8pts out of possible 12 is absolutely fantastic start. Like to see Akpom, Britt and Roberts start against Coventry and see if we can get some further confidence by scoring goals and creating further chances. One thing I worried about is playing teams who are direct, but I thought the whole team stood up to be counted and we dealt with the aerial duels and second balls.2 points

A draw always feels like a loss after taking the lead but it was a fair result for both sides. I do think that Warnock will have us in the shake up come the end of the season2 points

Shame we couldn't hold on for the win, but I'll take a point away at Cardiff.2 points

That was a golden opportunity with the defence pushing out. The right ball would have caught them flat footed.2 points

As opposed to the free flowing passing game they've graced us with so far?2 points

I have been burnt too many times by the "formation looks like a 433" that I won't believe it till I see it.2 points

I think it will be 433 with Dijksteel and bola as FB. Tav and Johnson either side of akpom2 points

Well given the weather it’s not suited to a long passing game so today’s game can be anyone’s who shows want. Just hoping we press around the box and I think we can walk away with the 3 points.. On a different note I just watched Bamford hat trick , great skill and its no wonder Leeds are flying high.2 points

To be fair, pulis was the making of traore. Monk and Aitor weren't able to manage him. The rest of the team he f***** up though!2 points

The game will therefore go ahead on Saturday. The Last Games Boro: Bristol 0 – 1 Boro Boro bea1 point

At the start of the season given the teams and squad we have I would have taken a hand off for 1.42 points per game Not pretty to watch or let’s be honest its bloody agony sitting through 90 mins and one win is equal to three draws so I’d prefer a bit more urgency and attacking play. On another note we are certainly a lot harder to break down which is progress. Cardiff have done well with loans, two Liverpool, one Arsenal and one from Leicester. So I guess on that note: we did pretty well really...1 point

We should of beaten reading if the official didn't disallow the onside goal and they are top1 point

It really is painful to watch. I’m not sure our approach would have been any different had we got Bolasie and co. We still would have lined up as we did and, like Roberts, Bolasie would have been sat on the bench for 90 mins.1 point

We've been playing a lot of the better teams in this league lately. Games should start getting better when we get some of the weaker ones. Then we have to hope Gibson lets NW do some wheeling and dealing in January. I agree we do need to improve, but considering the players we have and the teams we've played, I reckon we've done pretty well.1 point

Decent result, gud week, actually a gud return from a tough set of opening fixtures,1 point

really is nothing to fear for us in this division is there. we've played half the sides that will be in the top ten at the end of the season and lost once 0-1. we are going to be up there with them going off what we are seeing.1 point

It is a bit of a problem playing the way we do cos you can’t keep hold of the ball when you’re under pressure.1 point

Good dogged first half from us. More of the same second half and bring Roberts and Britt on last 20 to get us a second goal. Come on Boro1 point

We should have had a front 3 of Harrison, Bamford and traore just over 2 years ago, imagine if they'd have been given the licence to play like their subsequent managers have done. How depressing is that?1 point

The Transporter Bridge is the symbol of Teesside for me. That and Roseberry Topping, but that's not even technically within the boundaries of Teesside. -
Who cares what other people think about the Transporter Bridge? I want our badge to represent us, not remind people of us. If it were the other way around, we'd weave Jeff Stelling's rant into the badge and he's not even a Boro fan. 😄 The Transporter Bridge is a talismanic piece of construction of our own making that sits perfectly within the region of the Riverside and the immediate surrounding area. Whether it remains functional or not is neither here nor there, for me. I see it pretty much every day when I go to the office. When I was away as a student or working in London, coming back home by train, the Transporter was one of the last significant things you see pulling into the station and along with the Newport Bridge, it used to help settle me back into remembering my home town, firing off memories of home that remind you that this is where you belong. Not only that but in terms of the badge and the example shown, I think it looks really nice. The colour scheme, the architecture, it sits really nice in the design in blue, as a fitting contrast to the hard reds and whites, the waves representing the Tees which it stands across. I personally think it looks really smart.

Was just about to post the same thing. I didn't finish the second series of AWP but I remember that was the key storyline - they were selling the Transporter Bridge overseas - America IIRC. -
