I guess if you are Mel Morris, you wouldn’t be stupid enough to include the ground at a value lower than the ground was sold for, not when the EFL are still nosying around the sale. Far safer to keep it separate. I bet we will find it has been leased to the club buyers at a peppercorn rental for the next few years whilst the arguments over the value die down. At some point then, it will be sold on.1 point

£60m is the supposed takeover deal amount for the club but it does seem that the ground wouldn't be part of that. They'd have to negotiate separately for that company I guess.1 point

They? The Newcastle takeover attempt was by the Saudi Crown Prince, the Derby takeover is by a junior member of the Abu Dhabi royal family who's not actually in charge of any position of governance. Two different countries, two different situations.1 point

In short it was a mixture of "I won the election. All votes received after the election are illegal. I had a huge lead in every state and then somehow it's being whittled away" (you dumb *** that's how counting works). then he talked some gobble-de-gook about how they won a big legal challenge in PA, which was literally just getting their observers to be allowed to stand 6 feet away instead of 12, and I think was actually overturned by the PA supreme court on the same day anyway. Essentially he spent the entire time saying that all the votes being received in states he might fli1 point

I hope that's the case but I think it will just keep spiking again and again because it's been handled so badly and because of the idiots that refuse to adhere to simple rules. I think it's fair to say this Winter is going to be horrible for all of us, as has the entire pandemic, but it's quite possible that it's going to be even worse through the Winter months than it was in the first few months it started.1 point

I also think we are more exciting to watch now, than under Karanka .. We are not as negative in our approach.. Yes we lack a few goals, but that will come, the way we play! NW have steadied us from keeper to midfield via defence .. Ofc he will have our strikers scoring too! Players like Howson and Saville starts to look like the players they were before they were hypnotized to be slow and lethargic under Pulis and JW .. Georgia lead is down to ~2500 votes with apparently around ~16000 votes left. If I'm right with my maths, that means he needs ~58% of the remaining votes to level it up. A recount is gonna happen either way you'd expect but will be very interesting if Biden can nick it. Hear Trump's press conference earlier? He's completely *** lost it. The level of accusations with zero evidence, even Republicans are starting to distance themselves from him over this. He wasn't wrong, he really isn't a good loser is he?1 point

Well, those who try to point these dirty things out are often called communists. Which is utterly maddening. There's really so little room for genuine information any more. It no longer matters what the facts are, all that matters is who says they're facts. And whilst experts are referred to in inverted commas, we will get our 'facts' from people who benefit from telling people information in the way that benefits them.1 point

@Duvel The Government tender process needs to be seriously reviewed after the pandemic. We need some real heavy checks and balances on it. There are countless stories of some unscrupulous dealings surrounding the processes at the moment. I saw that a firm linked to the Tory party was given a £3 Million contract, without going through the tender process. Then there are the countless stories of Tory donor's getting contracts worth hundreds of millions, of which the businesses are not delivering what they've been paid to do. Then worst of all there are "Special Procurement Channels" for VIP'1 point

We've grown more effective over the last few games and we look more solid every game, I agree with that. There were some signs at the weekend that we were trying to play more football and it really came to life on Tuesday - but until then it was a snooze fest, just look back st the match threads as the games unfolded1 point

Yes, they opened things up while also telling people the basic precautions still applied. Seems a lot of people chose to ignore that. You've seen the signs and stripy tape markings all over shops, denoting 1-way systems, 2-metre zones, No Mask No Entry etc. Businesses have mostly done their best to comply with the rules, but as I said before a significant minority of people haven't. You only have to read / watch the news or listen to the radio to see instances where shop owners have been abused for trying to make people leave, because they haven't been wearing masks. Hackney hasn't been in the squad the last two games after making a fleeting appearance on the bench a couple of weeks ago. He's not ready to start a game. I think it'll be mcnair in for ayling like you say but I reckon vdb starts at right back like early on in the season. The rest will be unchanged but with greenwood in for silvera. -

If Dijksteel does not start this, then the writing really is on the wall for him, if its jot already anyway. I actually don't think he will start. I think Paddy will come in and we will change to a wing back system with Jones and Engel - which will say a lot about what MC thinks of Dijksteel in not trusting him at RB or as a 3rd CB (he played his best football there for us) Also would not be surprised to see Hackney replace Greenwood and plsy in an advanced role but rather Silveria or Gilbert there: Dieng Paddy VDB Clarke Jones Howson O'Brien Engel Silveria LL Azaz
