After everything he's done for us, don't you think Warnock deserves our trust? If he wants Bolasie, give him Bolasie.11 points
-
I think it’s just one poster who is against it because Bolaise ran over his cat.5 points

I swear half of your posts on this forum are about Bolasie, what did he do to you?5 points

Probably the dumbest thing I’ve heard in quite a while. Please raise the level in circumstances like this.4 points

I've been finding USAGoals streams either don't work, or show different matches, just lately. In case that link doesn't work, you could always head to Soccer24HD. https://www.soccer24hd.com/ They have a link up for our game...though it won't work til the scheduled kick-off time. You'll need to scroll down a fair bit to find it. Also, if you find the stream stutters or the picture blurs, click on the little gear icon (bottom right) and change the resolution. I usually find setting it to 640 x 480 works well and the picture quality doesn't suffer that much. Last but not4 points

I honestly think he could score a three every week, assist two cure cancer and you still wouldn’t be happy. You will have confirmation bias and just see every missed pass or wry smile.3 points

And more importantly to you, I think everyone on this board is also very aware of which side of the coin you favour.3 points

Hackney has really impressed for an 18 year old, would like to see more of him. Wish we got to see some of the other youngsters. Fletcher, Burrell & Jones all intrigue me.3 points

I think we already have a striker capable of doing that in Akpom, his link up game is really underrated. If we're gonna get another striker it should be an option we don't have, which is why I think it'll be a big physical presence/target man.3 points

Not really bothered by the result. The player who created the two bits of class for them to win the game has more than enough professional experience compared to the majority of players out there. Feel sorry for Hackney he did so well but you’re still going to struggle when your partner in midfield is Lewis Wing. I hope most fans realise now why he was plying his trade at Shildon three years ago. I’d prefer to see Hackney on the bench instead since there’s actual potential there! I think big credit needs to be given to Bola for still playing to his ability whilst also captaining the2 points

Stats show shots on target 3 - 9. While we did well with the volume the quality is obviously a challenge. Like I stated before the game and during, I was disinterested in the cup game because I fear it might derail our league effort or worse injury. Thankfully it takes the pressure off watching the game and although I thought it scrappy it was by no means disappointing. I thought players gathered around Browne showed empathy for each other, which shows a team bonded, a positive which will serve us well.2 points

Probably more attack-minded than Saville in terms of general play. He has really good instincts and always seems to pop up in good positions. Is pretty handy on a set piece too! Definitely grew into the game. Could see how naturally he links up with other players as the game wore on.2 points

I’m not going to miss Coulson, Wing or Roberts when they inevitably move on. Roberts generally have no end product and the two others just aren’t good enough.2 points

We've probably missed more good chances this game than Britt has the last 2 seasons, wonder if people will lay off him a bit for that now...2 points

Wing has natural talent but absolutely 0 head for the game. Never in the right place, never quick to pass, turns around and waits and waits and waits and so often makes the wrong decision. He also shirks tackles constantly and never goes into any 50/50 if he can avoid it. Basically an instinctively half-decent footballer with a fantastic shot on him but nowhere near ready for the tactical demands of high level football.2 points
-
Just goes to show how much it’s a game of opinions. I think he’s been dreadful.2 points
-
Works hard and seems to put himself in good positions which occasionally gets him a tap in, incidentally that's something Britt very rarely does.2 points

Thank **** he did in my opinion the quicker the games over without injury I’ll be content.2 points

Rugby players are insanely fit and brutal. Watched a lot of 7 games in Dubai, well it was mainly for the buckets of beer and a three day party. I also played football in the summer 7,s. now try playing football in a sauna with a hairdryer pointing at your face and you get the idea.2 points

That's crap but better than ACL which is what it looked like...2 points

Was a definite pen for me. Ricocheting off the defenders own foot like that and with the arm out. Without doubt a pen. I even think the rules specifically say that when the ball comes off the defender and the arm is above the waist then it’s a pen. Very bad refereeing.2 points

Only Coulson should have done better. Was weak and didn’t concentrate on his marking.2 points

I think it's about time the Lewis Wing project comes to an end. He is a porous centre midfielder. If I was going to play him, at most he'd be behind the striker, at least... well. Not good.2 points

For those who don't know - positions of da yoof on the bench are as follows: Brynn (Gk) Kokolo (LB) Sykes (CB) I. Fletcher (CM) Folarin (winger) Jones (winger) Burrell (ST)2 points

Why does it matter how the lad has been received? Literally has nothing to do with Warnock's record and more to do with fans being short-sighted.. which proves my point. NW knows best, let him bring in players he wants.2 points

Kamil Grosicki is playing for West Brom today and has assisted their equaliser, so he may not be fully out of their picture. More's the pity as he'd be an excellent signing.2 points

Just heard on the Blackburn match that Ayala has his 2nd long term injury of the season.2 points

My misses hasn't had any vaccine yet and she says this anyway. Edit: She works in a Primary school, and I'm a little surprised that Teachers and Teaching assistants aren't on the priority list for it.2 points

I’d back a half decent non league team of experienced grown up players against a team of kids any day, especially now reserve team football is a thing of the past and has been replaced by under 23’s. It takes a few seasons in the first team for the young ones to toughen up a bit.2 points

No that cant be right, according to the pundits Traore was rubbish until he went to Wolves2 points

we need another forward/striker who can actually play football and link up well with all the young lads like tav spence djiksteel bola etc. we have the makings ofa pretty good footballing side2 points

i thought extending watmores contract was huge , hes our top goalscorer already and looks like he could be a 15-20 goal a season striker if he stays fit . Not bad for free1 point

Selling Assombalnga for a decent fee this windows seems to make a lot of sense. We can't afford to let him leave on a free transfer and he doesn't fit into Warnock's preferred style of play as he simply doesn't have the height physique to play the targetman role. If we can sell him and replace him with a targetman such a Diedhiou for around the same figure (but much lower wages than Assombalonga) then that would be some good business.1 point

Play a full time of local lads if we've got them, that'd be nice to see. Don't care a jot about the cup this season, we won't get close to winning it and the extra games are an inconvenience, it will only get more inconvenient if other teams start having the troubles Rotherham have had and there are more postponements.1 point

No expectations or hope, going to watch it feeling like a neutral somewhat. A good game of football will suffice. Even with a positive run of results, it's too little too late.

I think that says a great deal of how fans are feeling now It's completely flat being a boro fan for many reasons this season and we have retreated so much from last seasons high I for one can't wait for the season to be over! Few more wins and I am looking forward to see the likes of luke Woolston getting a few chances by the end of the season. I'm sure this MDT will pick up at the end of today's result 🤣 -

Cowans was a good player in a very good Villa side. Nicknamed Sid, I assume more to do with James than Vicious. -

It was also largely because Warnock understandably kept getting short term contracts. Last 8 games, then a 1 year deal, then another 1 year deal. The last one to have a contract extended that wasn't about to run out was Karanka in 2015. -
29th March 1902 - Second division - Chesterfield at Linthorpe road The Boro promotion juggernaught just rolls on as we chase West Brom for that No1 promotion spot Our last defeat was way back, 21st December to be exact, since that loss we've gone 12 games unbeaten, including two spells winning 4 & 5 games on the bounce, following two consecutive draws Chesterfield were to pay for our lack of wins as we recorded our second highest league win with a convincing 7-1 thrashing With goals from, Robert Watson, William Wardrobe, a brace from Joe Cassidy & a treble from Alex Robertson, our 4th league hat trick, Robertson's 2nd Boro hat trick & our final hat trick at Linthorpe road before we moved across to Ayresome Park
