I am surprised at that @TheJew. Given you seem to predict we will lose most games I assume you would think there are weaknesses across the entire team that need addressing. Therefore might as well start some of that rebuild now if we can so the major overhaul in summer which I assume you believe squad needs is not as demanding.3 points

He came on after 81 minutes. Barely time to make an impact. I don't know the reason why he isn't getting game time, but Warnock used him to good effect at the end of last season. He needs run of at least 3 or 4 games. He hasn't even had two starts in a row this season, and there have been many times when we have needed something different. One thing I do know is that he has started 3 times in the league and we have won them all (Bristol City away, Coventry and Derby at home). Maybe now is the time to give him a run in the team?3 points

I imagine Patrick Roberts would like one of those, to be fair.3 points

Anyone wanna buy a home shirt with Roberts on the back? š¤¦āāļø3 points

Yes. It was a pointless field goal because they needed the TD anyway, so you may as well go for it there. If you don't get it, you turn it over on downs on the 8 yard line and need to get it back and score a TD. If you kick a field goal, they likely get it from the 25 and you still need to get it back and get a TD. Absolutely baffling decision to not go for it, honestly. Think similarly in the Bills game, two instances we drive inside the 10 yard line and IMO should go for it on 4th down and kicked field goals instead. It wasn't as pronounced an issue because we would have still3 points

Couldnāt help but feel that Roberts was playing for the wrong side on Sunday... heād be very good in that Blackburn team alongside Armstrong and Elliott - more suited to that style of play2 points

And he always looks up quickly to see what's on. He has his flaws but if he sees someone make a run behind he always tries to play the pass.2 points

He came on in the 81st minute and looked sharp but didn't get given the ball in any good areas. The one time he did he won a free kick for us. The neutral commentators commented on how sharp he looked in his brief cameo.2 points

Hope that people don't think I'm trying to step on toes. Just wanted to help out and get the results caught up. If people think I shouldn't have I can only apologise - was only done with good intentions of support.2 points

Yes was a howler as if they went for touchdown instead of field goal and scored it along with 2 points conversion the game be tied and be overtime. However they went field goal the ball was never in Rodgers hand again.2 points

Over the last couple of years I have started watching NFL so only grasping the rules gradually. But was wondering given my limited knowledge did Green Bay make a huge howler last night going for the points rather than the touch down right at the end or would it have not mattered.2 points

Birmingham have received a bid of £1m for Juke. Surely not us. Ticks a few boxes. Would be a target man, cheap price, scores goals in the championship and a former player.2 points

Warnock was using roberts regularly last season, I remember being gutted he got injured as we looked a totally different team when he wasnāt playing. God knows whatās gone on between then and this season. I wonder if heās another āgiftā that we got over a player warnock really wanted.1 point

If, and if anyone comes in they would need to be match fit and bond quickly with the team players to have any immediate impact. If we do sign anyone do you think NW will stop waiting until the 75th min to change strategy?1 point

Last time I was in NY, The Giants were playing on a Thursday night and I wanted to go but the office is in Midtown, so it was going to be tough to make it on time and it was a tough sell to the Mrs so ended up going to Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks get humbled by the Nets. I really want to go and watch them out there, it's just in the middle of nowhere!1 point

I've got a mate who's a Birmingham fan and he's that we're one of the clubs interested in Lukas Jutkiewicz. He also said Huddersfield along with another Championship club and Sunderland are other teams interested. Make of that what you will. He said all the bids are just under 1m.1 point

This is going to be the downfall of a lot of fan bases with young quarterbacks in the future. Expecting a Josh Allen like improvement, Josh Allen is the exception, not the rule!1 point
-
I'm a Giants fan but I dont think you can put the loss last night on Rodgers. What was LaFleur doing at 4th and goal?! go for it and worst comes to worst they start on their 5 yard line, not the 25 yard line from a kick off return. I also think the overall quality of Brady's receivers was the difference. Rodgers just has Adams. The Bucs toasted Kevin King all night too1 point

Download the SofaScore App and find the ref under the match entry. Then search his history Its all in there Excellent app by the way for all sorts of sport not just footie Can be annoying if you are watching TV streaming cos it gives you the goal alert before you get to watch it!1 point

He finished 4th in the league last season with them despite only losing players due to their transfer embargo. He nearly did as well with them without Hazard as they did the previous season with him. I think he justified having the job whilst he was there. This season has been disappointing but the squad has also changed dynamics quite a bit in the summer now that they're playing catch-up with other sides in their longer-term vision. Why does Lampard pay the price for that? I'm not at all shocked for Chelsea to sack a manager before his time is up, it's the way things are in the Prem1 point
-
Confirmed on the BBC not long ago. I know he wasn't doing a stellar job, but he had a decent first season in charge. Considering he's a relatively inexperienced manager, you'd have thought they'd stick with him a while longer. Look at all the stick OGS was getting at United...now he's got them top of the league. If all Abramovich wants is instant success he should have got another experienced manager in.1 point

Wouldn't have him here myself at all. Think the fact he was in charge with all those top players flattered him.1 point

I think I will still be in shock and disbelief about the last game till after this game, regardless of whether we win or lose.1 point

I think he is training already. Looking at the end of the month for first team. Think Warnock said the Norwich game. really low on numbers until then. I think our window now revolves around Fry. If heās out for a long time we need someone who can come straight into the team. Canāt rely on Hall or Wood.1 point

Sorry if i am repeating something that already been posted but there a pic of Dael Fry on clubs Twitter page. He has a nasty looking injury but it appears he did not go hospital. From what i can tell he seems to have stuck around in dressing room as he appears to have changed in to a white shirt. Hopefully that means its not as bad as first feared and next few days swelling will go down and hopefully he can be back for Rotherham or at least Norwich. Might need to wear one of them protective face masks. (And no not the one we all need to wear under Government guidlines)1 point

Would you believe that Diggerlad pm'd me while I was absent to check on how I was. If I'd realised he just wanted me to come back so that he could argue with me then I'd have ignored him š1 point

That's the exact same way I see it. As a unit we didn't cope with that situation well at all. Stemming from Britt trying some ju-jitsu on their player on the halfway line, Bola getting caught, for a split second, flat footed and not being able to track Elliot, Howson freezing and not moving to try and cut the cross out and finally Spence not tracking the run of Rothwell. It was a combination of errors that led to the goal not one single point.1 point
-
I'm absolutely incensed about what happened to Fry today and the abject standard of refereeing in the Championship. I totally agreed with Warnock's post-match comments- it was an absolute travesty of justice. Taking aside the fact he could have ended Fry's career with such a dangerous tackle, he almost blinded him in one eye. That decision completely changes the game - Blackburn do not deserve to have 11 men on the pitch. They also deserve to face a penalty. Even if we had missed the penalty, we'd have had 70- odd minutes with a man advantage. How can a linesman and a referee miss so1 point
-
That's when Howson looks at Rothwell and leaves Armstrong. You can see is looking at him. That's a second or two later when Howson is quite clearly now marking Rothwell. He thinks he is about to run in behind him so he completely changes direction and runs backwards first, but Rothwell stops. The problem then is that Howson is doing nothing, because he isn't marking anyone but for some reason he also basically stops doing anything else. He can clear the ball when it comes across but he stands still. Blame Spence for switching off but then you have to blame Howson for the1 point
-
Spence doesn't play every week to make those mistakes every week and most of the time he does play he isn't playing at right back so with respect you're just making stuff up. I've shown you the freeze frames in much more detail than those two you've posted. You can see where Howson decides to pick up Rothwell but then leaves him, just as he decided to pick up Armstrong and then left him as well. So he left two players, still ended up in a position to clear the ball as our last man but stood still instead. That's not me absolving Spence of blame because he still switches off like I said1 point

Feel this is a make or break week in terms of the season. If we feel the play offs are achievable then weāll bring the 3 players we need or if Gibsonās happy with mid table Iām guessing itāll just be the 1 player.1 point

Utterly baffling and the whole clique situation also smacks of poor player management...something Warnock was supposed to be good at. Like a few others here I decided not to bother watching when I saw the starting lineup. His decision to bring Britt on almost seems like taking the mickey. Considering our season is over, as far as achieving anything is concerned, why on Earth not blood a few youngsters, or give more fringe players game time, just to see if there are any capable of stepping up and filling the gaps? I mean he's got nothing more to learn about the players that started yesterday (Archer apart). If there are indeed cliques in the squad, surely the best way to nullify them, (in the short term, at least) is to make significant changes? Treat our remaining fixtures the way PL teams do early cup ties... Ā -

I feel sorry for Johnson, was playing really well before Christmas, creating and scoring. Loan players come in, he doesnāt get a look in and we are worse for it. Spence and Coulson often get called out, alongside the strikers.Ā Ā I wouldnāt be surprised if Brit, Johnson, Akpom, CoulsonĀ and Fletcher are all pretty peed off and want away.Ā Iām still supportive of Warnock but he needs to take some responsibility. The loan signings seem to have disrupted the team spirit. Too many all at once? Too many straight into the team? He clearly doesnāt rate any of our strikers and Fletcher annoyed him getting injured again when he said he was fit and not signing a new contract.Ā Such a disappointing end to the seasonĀ
