  1. I was so *** off when I saw the highlights of your game on the weekend, which has been compounded by that clown cooper saying they're a "classy team" I just had to join your forum and back you lot up. Look I'm a Brentford fan so not much love between us, but that aside, if you look at just this game, a neutral will say you were hard done by its football etc it happens. Just NO NO. They have been cheating and diving their way through this league for as long as I can remember, and they get the most ridiculous decisions go their way. Il give 2 examples. 1. This year at theirs it doesnt

  3. Thanks mate. The series will have a break this week. Next one will be filmed next week. Not sure who yet Thanks pal That was always the idea and why i agreed to do it in the first place. I couldn't do a typical media interview which meant they give the same media cliched answers. It helps both players so far in Bolasie and Saville are huge characters

  5. Every team in the league have players who dive and cheat, every manager in the league condones it when its their players doing it and the fans condone it as well. Stop complaining.

  8. I hope Brentford and Watford can prevent Swansea promotion. As I totally don't like the tactics Swansea deploy they litteraly injured Dijksteel for rest of the season due to the fact he beat their player manning like 3 times in opening 10 mins so he decided to chop him down when the ref wasn't watching.

  9. It is significant when the only supporters that think the decisions were right are Swansea and even our rivals think we wuz robbed.. Hope you can edge them and Watford out on the run-in and make it to the Prem this year.. and if you have any spare goalscorers, point them this way 🙂

  10. Very good points. I’ve never been keen on the idea of VAR but I did think that one of the benefits would be that more players would be punished for diving. I don’t think I’ve seen one yellow or red card for diving since it’s inception it’s crazy.

  11. I'm of the opinion that the season is over for us even if Barnsley only draw tonight, so I would play the formation that Warnock is planning to use next season so the players who'll still be here will have more practice with it. We're already safe, so there's no real risk. He's always saying he prefers 4-3-3, so play 4-3-3. Bettinelli Fisher Fry McNair Bola Howson Morsy Tavernier Watmore Akpom Bolasie

  12. I believe before turning up lets give the ref a call to see if it’s worth it. Won’t really be any point if he has us marked down to loose.

  13. Paddy McNair has his own patented "fall over onto the ball and look at the ref" technique.

  15. That’s insane and the booking for ungentlemanly conduct makes no sense whatsoever if you still allow the 2nd penalty to stand.

  16. I had high hopes for Coulson, but he hasn't really done it anywhere on the pitch. Not great as a LWB, not great further forward. I don't think anyone knows his best position, which may be because he just doesn't have one, and he's consistently fluffed the opportunities he's been given to impress. I'd be sad to see him leave, but I doubt he'd be remembered fondly or missed by many.

  17. To me it looks like a case of having a defender on the line being more hindrance than help. If you freeze the video at 20 seconds, you can see the keeper has his eye on the ball for the follow-up shot and is preparing to make a save. I just think he was maybe put off by the defender and didn't move as much as he would have done otherwise. Similarly the defender is likely aware of his keeper and tries (not very hard) to get out of his way. I always thought the point of having a defender on the line was to guard the opposite post, in case the ball went past the keeper? In thi

  19. Swansea's now but ours previously and perhaps subsequently but possibly not at this exact minute, if we want to be precise .. but in the grand scheme of things, our rivals have included a range spanning Benfica, Real Madrid, Roma and South Bank, so a team that we have competed against could fit into that category in fact the definition can be given as a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity, so whilst not being a close rival, it is obvious that they can be fitted into that category 🙂

  20. Neither of them would have made it here. Jones needed a change of scene to get himself away from trouble and refocused on football. Wyke was not ready to step up into our first team when he was released and needed to be somewhere where he would be a regular player in order to progress. He would have just sat in our under 23s and not developed as much. We made the correct call at the time with both players.

  27. Coulson will be 23 at the start of the next season. Hes gone backwards if anything, partially to do with being in and out of the side - mostly out. He needs a new team and I'd say it will likely be permenant. Spence has shown more than coulson, but is very raw. He's only 20 though, so well behind coulson on development time. Wouldn't mind seeing him to out on loan if we consider dijksteel and fisher to be our two right backs.

  28. Sorry but how can you argue that having premiership and guaranteed parachute payments wouldn’t be a good thing? We spent awfully after the last promotion and still got it all back through sales. Having that money would be a god send for this club, now more than ever.

    • Has he whinged about Villa, Liverpool and West Ham like? I'm pretty sure he's spoken about West Ham at least and had nothing but positive things to say about his time there. In comparison with Karanka, he had plenty of good to say about Big Sam too, if I remember rightly. And in his situation, would you feel aggrieved or would you sit there after over a decade's worth of combined service to a club and think "At least I got that chance"? It's a two way street and it always has been with Downing. When he's been here, he's always worked hard and at least earned the chance to justify us keeping him around. He's never downed tools like Braithwaite did, for example. The season Braithwaite signed, Downing was pushed into the under-23s by Monk, they tried to force him out the club and sell to Birmingham and he worked his way back into the team. That same player got demonised as if he was a catalyst for Karanka's departure, got booed by his own fans and still came back trying to fight for the cause. It doesn't matter if I'd been in my job for 1 year or 20, if I made agreements with someone to extend a contract and they then backed out when it suited them and left me in the lurch, I'd be pretty bloody annoyed about it. If he wants to talk about that, he has the right and players who are hung out to dry by clubs don't have any reason to shirk talking about it. Especially with the situation here, where he didn't just have a promise made to him, he made a decision to waive a contractual agreement previously made in part so he would have his future worked out. We got what we wanted in the short term and long term and Downing was forced to leave. How can anyone possibly look at that level of unprofessional behaviour by the club and still think Downing's the problem is completely beyond me. It just seems to be a long term hatchet job continued on from a time when everyone blamed Downing for Karanka nearly leaving the first time and actually leaving eventually. Mixed in with the fact people thought Downing wasn't a good player which for some reason created value judgements of him as a person. People already don't like him and see him in one way so aren't open to the idea that he's in the right. The comment above, "don't get me started" on him, I have to wonder where that comes from when everything Downing says matches up to the absolute shittery we see at the top level of our club every year and especially since Karanka and Orta left.
    • dont get me started on Downing.
    • @wilsoncgp agree with everything you said. Just seems to me that he loves to whinge about how each club dealt with him “unprofessionally” upon leaving them. I have no doubt Boro did probably mess him about in Pulis final yesr but he needs to weigh that off woth how much good our club has done for him over the years, especially the owner who he also slagged off in that Schwarzer interview In every interview I read of his he seems to give of the vibe of there being a sense of self-entitlement with him. Just my opinion and others might see him differently
    • I think given his comments to Schwarzer about how it ended here, I'd be shocked to see him back any time soon. Pretty sure he said his dad got on the phone to the chairman and it sounded like they had a bit of a barney about broken agreements. I do think he wants to stay in football though as part of that planned new deal at Boro seemingly involved him being given a chance to develop his coaching skills here.
