  2. @YusufBoro good work my friend. I enjoy watching them. Have you managed to get any ITK transfer news for us through doing these interviews? If not I will set you a challenge of finding us at least one name we are after before your last interview. Haha

  4. Well, their fans may not acknowledge it, but the Tees-Wear derby is officially a thing. A quick Google shows results from Wikipedia, the Northern Echo, the MFC website and even Facebook. Though it is usually also acknowledged that the Tyne-Wear derby is the bigger / more important fixture. Even some contradictory comments from Chris Coleman, back when he was Sunderland manager: https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sunderland-vs-middlesbrough-chris-coleman-14324634 On the one hand he insists Boro is not a derby game for them, then in the nex

  5. International matches during a Global Pandemic seem frivolous and irresponsible (same goes for Champions League, Olympics etc.) to me. Interesting that Kebano and Bolasie can't travel due to Covid apparently to play for DRC yet other games can go ahead. We are now fully aware just how easily this virus can spread and having International sporting events before we have got on top of it are just unnecessary. Europe is now facing a third wave yet we are mixing squads of players from all over together and replicating it three times in just over a week, what could possibly go wrong?

  7. I agree their keeper played really well, but there were plenty of wasted chances that had nothing to do with him. Sterling and Calvert Lewin should both have had a hat-trick in the first half alone. It's still a win though, and Poland dropped points to Hungary. If England win these next two matches, they've got 1 foot in the World Cup. Hopefully they qualify and then boycott it.

  8. Hi lads, I'm a mate of Alberto Bongaloid (who is reg'd on here under a different name) son. I'm 26 years young, love the Boro and work in Holland. Never been in to message boards but Johnny told me to get involved. I tried reading other forums before deciding where I feel I'd fit in. FMTTM. I didn't like the way the bloke who runs it basically told posters how to think on that board. The political stance was not for me. There's lads on there that have serious problems, the onemanupship from the bloke with the Tesla was mind boggling. ComeOnBoro. When I first read it, it came acr

  9. I guess because san marino have dark blue shirts and shorts as their away kit, which would clash with the dark blue England home shorts. This will have been the only home/away combo that didn't clash.

  10. I think it is just to promote the away kit @Blanco and no more. I could be wrong mind.

  12. The tweets causing it to trend are pretty disgusting. It's Football v Transphobia week as of yesterday so the timing of it all feels incredibly sinister to me, too. I've got no place for it at all. This was the statement from the group running the FvT week of action.

  13. Yeah, thats more or less what I was getting at. I think even Delia Smith would raise an eyebrow at the succession of managers we've had. But I think we need some people with footballing brains to actually come up with a workable plan and implement it. Not people with delusions of getting us to play Dutch total football or Spanish tiki taka. Just something that will work in the Championship...and maybe to a reasonable degree in the PL.

  14. @AnglianRed I think that's the biggest issue we don't really have a clear identity and we've never really strived to create one. I'm not 100% sure you need to be a footballing person to realise going from; Karanka, to Monk, to Pulis, to Woodgate and then to Warnock isn't the best when it comes to continuity. But certainly getting footballing people in to implement an actual plan is the way forward. I think Billy Beane, the big advocate of the actual "Moneyball" theory (not buying cheap and selling high *shudders*) is involved with Barnsley. But he's been involved in football for a li

  15. With all due respect Barnsley have yo-yoed between league 1 and championship for last decade so rather not follow they model. Its only this season they outperforming us. And in last 5yrs we have, despite on whole being poor, enjoyed more success than Brentford. Therefore like a few managers i am slightly at a loss to explain many fans obsession with the Brentford model? At the moment they have little actual on field success to show for they model. Obviously this season that might change.

  17. I know it's daft given his Championship record, but I wouldn't want Dwight Gayle. There's always been something I've found really unlikeable about him. Loved him looking a *** after his cocky celebrations against us with West Brom before we won 3-2.

  18. The whole problem is just going full circle again. warnock will bring in his players to suit his style. He’ll be gone in a year and then the new manager will have to make do with Warnocks fellas. Then we have to *** about for a few seasons to accommodate until it starts all over again
