It isn't, it's also the midfield when we've had to have Morsy, Sav & Howson all playing. The undynamic trio. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Howson drops to more of a role player next year because his legs look shot. It's Clayton all over again.2 points

Not sure I 100% believe higgy on this one. There are probably elements of truth, but plenty of players karanka managed with us have been very public about praising him and his management skills and some have gone on to play with him at second clubs, so there's absolutely no chance that he never talked to his players.2 points

These days I'd expect Leo to be more coy about it and play it down on both sides. At the time, I'm not so sure. A year and a bit later, he was marching over to the Charlton away end wearing an AK jacket rallying support for him after the bust-up Higgy supposedly saw coming. I think he was fiercely loyal to him... but I don't necessarily think that's an all-round bad look for Leo. He stands by people who stand by him and I'm sure some of us also have friends who would walk through brick walls to defend us, no matter what. Leo being involved just makes me think Karanka was a coward who2 points

Norwichās success under Stuart Webber as Sporting Director deserves huge praise. He has a longterm plan, knows how to implement it, operates shrewdly in the transfer market, and has the self-restraint to keep faith in his longterm plan and head coach during bumps in the road. They have absolutely everything that we lack. Itās incredibly frustrating to see yet more and more seasons aimlessly drift away. Although as Anglian said, it could be someone for whom English isn't their first language. It's basically gibberish though isn't it? It's a shame Higgy and Aitor couldn't get on. I seem to remember we were flying when they were both at the club and it went a bit lumpy after Higgy left. If only Aitor had a better temperament, he could have been a far better manager. Shame it seems to have soured Gibbo off foreign managers as well.1 point

Good to see Southgate bringing the three lions hopefully some fans can attend in some capacity maybe making it local restriction so we don't have England fans from around the country traveling up with the plague. For me, this indicates Spence is off (either loan or permanent). Or, being really pessimistic it makes me think Dijksteel's injury is either really bad or we are potentially looking at getting a big fee for him.1 point

Oh I'm a PC gamer too, I currently have 326 games in my steam library š at least 50% of them have never been touched, and probs another 25% have less than 1 hour in them lol.1 point

This has been a long-running issue for a few years now, ever since celebrities started getting threatening / abusive messages on their accounts. Not to mention paedophiles trawling for kids. For some reason the social media companies think they'll lose users if they submit data to the police...they probably actually would, but they're not the kind of users any respectable company wants anyway. If this is their only argument, its a paper-thin one. In any case, from what I've read there are alternative platforms on the "Dark Web" used by organised criminals and other unpleasant types.1 point

Thanks @AnglianRed I didnāt know what was involved in setting up an account and never considered one off fake email addresses. I thought that it would be similar to on here when we got our friend Adam from Dubai, it didnāt take long for him to be sussed out and the mods got rid of his account, although they did have to shut multiple accounts to nail him. I thought social media companies with all the staff that they have would easily be able to put a stop to the like of that crap sent to Ivan Toney1 point

Yep, sadly this kind of crap is far too prevalent. As I said to Blanco, it is all to easy to set up a new account when one is blocked. Blocking accounts really is no deterrent when you're contending with hardcore racists like this. Its scum like this that we need to kick out of football...and society in general...permanently. EDIT: I'd also guess from the "fractured" nature of the post that English isn't their first language. Possibly some hasty Google Translate was involved?1 point

I only have a Twitter account, but you only need to provide an email address. With hosts like gmail (Google's email service) and others its just too easy to create a temporary or one-use account. It literally takes 5 minutes to create a new email account, so if one social media account gets blocked, it doesn't take long to set up another. I'm all for companies like Instagram and Twitter providing full traceability for accounts found to have racist, homophobic or otherwise offensive posts. Also for the criminal justice system to impose much harsher penalties than currently exist. Heft1 point

really enjoying Norwich,s destruction of Huddersfield, the movement off the ball and immagination between the half way line and opponents box is brilliant. ironically the area of the pitch where we are pathetic in those two disciplines . what im not enjoying is Lee Hendrie,s input. im certain hes on commision for the amount of times he can cram "really" into the commentary..........i really do1 point

We have 11 NW players in the squad. The overall performance of the team over a prolonged period has been dreadfully poor. No shape, energy, consistency, there is just no DNA that shows a team bonding. I have watched a team that is error ridding, panicked on the ball, no movement and lacks confidence. I canāt understand NW game plan, I donāt understand his substitutions or his reluctance to act when things are clearly unbalanced. What I do see is a manager that does not want to loose but doesnāt have the will or bottle to want to win. I see a manager who bigs up other teams players and talks1 point

Our keeper is awful, I've no doubt we'd have some more points with a good keeper. He's not the only problem but that statement in and of itself is not ludicrous. So saying we'd be closer to or in the play-offs is also not that ludicrous. Top 2, absolutely, rubbish, but you just need to look at 3rd to 7th, the teams still by and large in the play-off push, to see that you don't need to be an all-round good side to finish in the top 6. Even an extra 6 points keeps us in the hunt at this stage. You can acknowledge that without acknowledging the rest of the rubbish stuff in our team. The one-1 point

Ivan Toney subjected to racist abuse again after tonight's game according to Sky Sports News. I thought I'd have a look to see what was said: I don't use social media but I assume that this was an account specifically opened to do this as it has 0 followers and 0 posts if I understand what I'm seeing here? It must be obvious that it's being done to get attention surely? If someone sent me something like that I'd be pretty happy that I wasn't born as thick as them. I'm not even sure what the message means, it's that bloody stupid š¤¦āāļø0 points

Thought I'd be helpful and get the match thread startedĀ with the disappearance of Smogdane. On Monday night at 8pm, Middlesbrough face Leeds United in a YORKSHIRE DERBY, it's aĀ match that's of vital importance in the promotion race. Leeds are 3rd in the Championship, and a point off the automatic promotion spots, they've only won 1 of their last 5 games and are fortunate that the two teams above them keep slipping up too. We'll find out tomorrow whether Middlesbrough are finally mathematically out of the play-off hunt, if West Brom draw and Norwich win, it's done. Luke Ayling and Sam Greenwood will be unable to play against their parent club but we've got the return of Paddy McNair to full training. Ā Questions - What team would you pick? What's your favourite thing about Leeds? What are the odds on Bamford cheating yet again? Will we derail their promotion push even further? -
