Apparently first thing this morning they were told by Leo to go and find the back of the net in training and haven't been seen since. Apparently the underwater search and rescue team are scouring the River Skerne but all they have found so far are around 300 balls presumably from Britt practicing Penalty Kicks down the years.9 points

Malley has very nice feet. Looks hard to deal with in possession5 points

Genuine guy is Marv. Stand out player in 1st half of the season. Very unlucky to not have been involved more. Loves it at Boro.5 points

Want to see malley play the last 3 games from the start now. He'll be high on confidence and if he can establish himself as an option for next season that will be a huge bonus to our summer dealings.4 points

If this is meant to prepare us for the worst, the worst being a *** summer before another *** season, I'd like Warnock to walk now. Don't big us up to be giving it a right old go next season if the feeling is we're gonna really struggle to get promoted. If we're gonna build a team in any way in this man's image this summer, it has to be built with promotion as the aim and that's it. If we're not expecting to challenge in any way, shape or form and it's all about Warnock 'giving it a go', get him out and get someone in who's actually going to begin the long-term process of building a side capab4 points

A more pleasing performance, certainly from a footballing perspective. We tried to actually pass and move and play it short. Rotherham weren’t great, but credit where credit is due. I enjoyed that game. Buzzing to see Malley play so well as mentioned earlier, he looked like he cared and it shone through with his game and energy. I hope we keep this positive momentum til the end of the season.3 points

Yes, but you can't order at the bar. In some places you walk past the bar to then sit outside in a covered area to order. Then if you need the loo you can go back inside past the bar and to the loo. But importantly you can't sit inside or walk upto the bar. Simple.3 points

Connor Malley. If you are reading this on the team bus home, never change. Be hungry for that ball and zip about. What a breath of fresh air you have been to watching the boro. We actually look like we want to play football because we have a player who looks up for it and comfortable with the ball at his feet. GWAN LAD3 points

In this day and age no longer can we stereo type anyone and only by accepting this can we really move forward. There is no need for comments pertaining anyone be it race, creed and colour and religion. The comment made by CT though made in jest simply is a thing of the past and we all must strive to be above that3 points

FWIW, the players look pretty chirpy warming up for the second half. If there's friction in the squad, it's not obvious tonight.3 points

I know people slate Saville, but 6 goals and 4 assists isn't a bad return for a midfielder. Could still get more too.3 points

See, all you Warnock bashers, he is giving a youngster an opportunity early in the game!.........3 points

Not a huge surprise when you have a first name for a surname and a surname for a first name! Every time I read it I just want to yell FENTON, FENTON, JESUS CHRIST!3 points

That's entirely possible but to me the issue is that he isn't ready to be a first choice starter, however he's being picked like he is, and then being judged like he is. I think people might have misunderstood my defending the lad at times. I don't think he's a great player, and I don't think he needs to be in the side every week. He's just someone I see with potential. A player like Morsy, for example, has reached the peak of what they are. He'll never be more than he is now. Spence can be more than he is now although it's certainly not guaranteed.3 points

That Gazette article is *** miserable, Jesus Christ. They really are *** nowadays. It didn't take a super human effort to keep us in the league last season, it only took a half competent manager. We were in no danger of relegation before Woodgate proceeded to fail to beat Wigan, Barnsley and Luton in quick succession and go 3 months without a win. The relentless negativity from the Gazette and from Warnock himself is just laying the groundwork for an early exit at this rate. Pathetic.3 points

Heh. Yeah - with Boro entertainment tends to be the exception rather than the norm. But I agree for the majority of football fans...including most of us, I guess, football is so much more than just entertainment. Its about where you're from, its often a family thing, its tradition, its tribal, it can be about a sense of belonging. Sometimes it can be as silly as just liking the kit, or a particular player. I mean the first team I ever followed (followed, not supported) as a kid were Spurs...simply because I liked the kit and because Gary Lineker was playing for them at the time.3 points

Be careful now. That idea would put Leicester, West Ham, Everton and dirty Leeds 😵 in the Champions League as things stand3 points

I'm desperate for us to win this, but yeah, a Rotherham win would put them a point behind Derby with 2 games in hand, they could do it. Derby and Sheffield Wednesday both going down would be a beautiful karmic punishment to terrible owners.3 points

I really hope we can sort out something with Bolaise for next season.I know he had a few too many shots from distance today but he is so positive, drives forward at every opportunity and has a goal in him.Give him a proper pre season and he could be massive for us.2 points

I’m very open minded when it comes to humour/sarcasm and get offended by very little but there was no humour and I didn’t really see the sarcasm in the comment. Just not necessary if anything really2 points

Saville scores, his 6th of the season! Good goal. Great work from Kebano.2 points

Well usually you try to stretch them and play around them in the space that's left. What we do right now is do the same bloody thing we do vs 11 men.2 points

His elbow was clearly leading and hits Hall's throat too ... Yes it was a clash of heads that did the damage, but that elbow was dangerous ... If i drive 100 mph drunk, but don't hit anyone, I should be punished anyway!2 points

At first glance, whether Crooks meant it or not, he was leading with his elbow at head height.2 points

Given how we've played some games, I'm surprised no-one's already accused of doing this. 😁2 points

It's going to sound like I'm going on, but I don't really care - players are coached in a different way from youth level now adays. They aren't allowed to head the ball, English football has taken a turn towards the more technical, European style with less of an emphasis on physical attributes. As a result, logically there will be less players knocking around that will fit right into warnocks preferred style of play to an effective level. It's why these old school coaches are slowly but surely becoming redundant, they just don't fit the ethos of the game anymore - Bruce won't last past th2 points

I was gonna say something similar yesterday. Maybe the reason we never heard from Gibson is because he wanted to know more about how this was going to trickle down from the ESL to smaller clubs. There seemed to be absolutely no clarification on that from the proposals for the ESL, I think Perez in his interview said something along the lines of "Let us get the money first then we can help". Which has always worked throughout history, right?2 points

I enjoyed last night so much, I made myself a bowl of nachos and flicked between BBC News and SSN for a happy hour. However, now it's the morning after the night before, I agree with other posters this entire affair could be quietly airbrushed from history, like that time you farted in front of the vicar that nobody ever talks about. Even though it stank the place out and he left soon afterwards. I don't think PL points deductions would achieve much, since the Premier League has trundled on unaffected, and it should really be sacrosanct. Instead, hit the b**tards where it hurts. Ban those2 points

It's okay, I feel the same way. I hope Rotherham beat us tomorrow night. We have nothing to play for, and I'd much rather Derby go down than them. In fact make it blatantly obvious we're throwing the game, really *** that cheating *** Mel Morris off 🙂2 points

As soon as I saw this I liked it even if it's a template to work from it just seems right. The blue and black element is Ideal for away kits. Who doesn't like the Inter colours -
Not even bothered. Season dead. We will lose, but it's all about recruitment for next season now. Bin loan players off if we have no intention of signing them. Give our own players a chance.

this pritty much nails it, don't need to go reiventing the wheel with it or but a modern twist . Shape, colours, perfect. Club and town Identity and history involved and looks dancing in my opinion. Ships or the transporter happy with either.

It probably goes against the grain for many but the Transporter Bridge isn't exactly iconic apart from an eight mile radius South, East and West of it. It's not even given a thought by people living to the North side of the Tees. Let's face it, it's usually under repair and out of order and even when "operational" neither practical nor functional. Being brutal, the Tees Flyover or even Newport Bridge are probably more recognised by people from outside of the area. Granted, it's old and quaint but other than that it's hardly the Tyne Bridge or Sydney Harbour Bridge which we built and I wouldn't want either of those on the badge. The Wilton Cooling towers are more instantly connected to Teesside by the rest of the Country and that (hopefully) isn't a consideration. If we do have to have something additional to the rampant Roary then let it be the ships which is a nod to our past and with the upcoming Freeport a nod to a hopefully successful future plus we know how supportive SG has been towards the Freeport. The Hogwarts badge coincides with the bleakest period at the Riverside and far from me being superstitious but it does seem more than a coincidence. Personally I'd prefer to revert to the badge which encompassed the most successful period in our 150 year history with just a subtle change of date. -
